This work is based on a present-day map
of the Old City of Jerusalem, where the holy sites of all 3 Monotheistic
religions are located: The Wailing Wall, the Church of Sepulcher and the Al-Aqsa
Mosque. There are miniature drawings that fill the various neighborhoods –
illustrating infinite differences between nations, communities and religions,
all living together within the walls of the Old City. Three large “eyes”
oversee from above the co-existence of Jews, Christians and Moslems within this
tiny space. One may also see lines or “fences” that tear through the city.
